AOD comes from Norm (norm.de), the design and innovation studio behind it. Norm does design and innovation work for other brands, industrial design, product design, graphic design, packaging, spatial stuff, basically anything from zero to launch.

At some point the studio was like, why are we only doing this for other people, let’s use everything we know and make our own thing. AOD started as merch for the team at Norm, just stuff they wanted to wear, and it turned into pulling together everything the studio does, industrial design thinking, graphic design instincts, all of it, into one small collection.

So it’s not some random side project, it’s literally the same standards Norm holds client work to, just on their own label this time.
